The app is designed to function much like a streaming platform that will be organized well to provide videos of each artist.<\/p>\n<p>It will also allow users to listen solely to the music without videos &#8211; a feature for those who want to keep listening while doing some other work, like driving.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8220;<i>We want to take that to the next level and provide a way for artists and fans to connect<\/i>,&#8221; Kyncl said, voicing hope that\u00a0YouTube\u00a0Music would become a &#8220;primary destination for music.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><br \/>\nThe best part about the YouTube\u00a0Music app will be that it\u2019ll be free with advertisements. Those who are subscribed to Google Play Music will automatically receive\u00a0YouTube\u00a0Red and vice versa.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>With the aim to draw subscribers to the paid tier, the company said it was developing movies and series exclusively for YouTube\u00a0Red.
