  • Touchpad Not Working

Check your keyboard’s buttons to turn on/off the touchpad. If that’s fine, use this sequence:

Start Key + I, Devices > Mouse & touchpad > Additional mouse options. On opening up the new windows, go to Device Settings and check the touchpad options and make sure it is not disabled. If so, enable it.

  • Updates are Not Installing or Downloading

Windows Key—Run—Type Regedit—Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\­Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windo­­ws.

Search APPINIT_DLS and Delete Everything. Reboot the PC.

  • MS Files are Not Opening:

Ctrl X—Command Prompt—Fill Input “ icacls “%programfiles%\Microsoft Office 15” /grant *S-1-15-2-1:(OI)(CI)RX” (Replace the Microsoft Office 15 with your Office Number) and Press ENTER.

  • Not Finding Windows Store:

Setting your date, time and country can fix this issue. Windows Key—Start Menu—Settings—Time and Language.

  • Pop Up Ads in Edge Browser:

Open Edge Browser—Select Advanced Settings—Choose Block Pop Ups.

  • Files are Not Saving at Desired Locations:

Right Click on File/Folder– Choose Properties—Click Security Tab– Check Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object at bottom. Click Apply followed by OK.

  • Issues in Default Apps Settings:

Windows Key + I—System-Choose Default. Set your preferences there.
